FAQs

How do I make Virkon into solution and how long does it last?

Virkon should be used as a 1% solution, for example 1g in 100ml warm water, 5g in 500ml, or 10g in 1 litre. Warm water aids dissolution. Once in solution, it remains effective for 1 to 2 weeks and should be discarded if colour is lost. The powder can be stored for up to 3 years if kept cool and dry.
