We only accept orders from UK educational establishments. Please be aware that all prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
We only ship to mainland UK excluding the highlands. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship over water to any island or other country.

Shipping Policy
Our aim is to ship all orders 100% complete from stock. 
However, where all stock is not available to complete an order and the customer’s requirement is urgent, we are happy to accommodate a part shipment when/if each part of the shipment has a value of £100+ VAT. Please note – if a missing item is due in within 72 hours of the part ship request, we reserve the right to ship at 100% stock. If a part shipment request doesn’t meet the above criteria, it can still be arranged for a £6.95+VAT part shipment fee or customers are free to increase the value of their order to meet the criteria. You’ll always have the choice. 

Our options allow you to:

• Pay for a part delivery
• Cancel out of stock items
• Wait for the full order

If lead times are unusually long, we may arrange, at our cost, a part shipment to help keep things moving.

ADR Shipping Charges
Certain chemicals are classified as "Dangerous Goods" under the ADR regulations and must be individually boxed and sent by specialist carriers. Free Delivery Does Not Apply to ADR Shipments. ADR Shipments are charged per box and based on geographical location (postcode).

As part of the recent launch of our new website, we have changed the way ADR (Dangerous Goods) Shipping is calculated.
This change is designed to deliver better value to our customers in a clear, open and honest way.
Moving forward ADR (DG) goods will be excluded from our Free Shipping Offer, and will be subject to a charge per box shipped.

• We have REDUCED all Product Prices
• As many products ADR or non ADR can be added to each box up to 20Kg
• All ADR shipments have a maximum weight of 20Kg
• Prices are charged per geographical location (Postcode)
• ADR Products are excluded from Free Delivery Option

Where Science Technicians Come First

Whilst we have always requested End User Declarations (EUDs) for certain chemicals, changes from October 2023 to the Control of Poisons, Explosives & Drug Precursors Regulations have broadened the scope of chemicals covered. We now have a single combined EUD to cover all legislation and all chemicals. The main changes to the legislation can be found below

Live Specimens Delivery
To ensure living biological specimens reach you in perfect health, they are not shipped on a Friday to ensure they are not stored over a weekend in a carrier’s facility. Please ensure you order in time. Some of our live products are shipped direct from the producer and shipment is at their discretion.


The above delivery options are only available to mainland British educational establishments 
(A DfE number is required and is entirely at our discretion)

Please note, that as we are only open Monday - Friday, orders placed after 4pm on a Friday will not be processed until Monday.
Consequently, orders placed on a Saturday for next day delivery will be delivered on the Tuesday.
