Time Machine Impact Switch

LogIT Time Machine Impact Switch with 1m cable

For use with the LogIT Time Machine (TMH-800-100), this Impact switch can be used to start or stop the Time Machine timer when impacted by a hand or a ball. The sensor sends a signal to the timer whenever it is hit and has a centre mounted indicator LED.

Key Features: 

• Can be used in reaction timing experiments with the LogIT Time Machine: when the Time Machine is set to 'Reaction Time' the LED will light after a random length of time, students then tap the top of the impact sensor as quickly as possible to stop the timer, which records the reaction time taken.
• Can be used as the bottom gate for g by freefall experiments (a piece of wood can be placed on top of the switch to offer protection and also provide a larger target).
• Connection to Time Machine is via 1m cable (supplied)
