Stroboscope - Xenon This digital stroboscope uses a Xenon lamp to emit intense bursts of light, which can be synchronized with the speed of a target object, making it appear to be stationary or moving slowly. This procedure allows calculation of the speed or frequency of an object that has an unknown speed of oscillation or rotational velocity. The unit features a rotating encoder to facilitate rapid frequency modulation and incorporates an internal microcontroller as the processing unit, along with a built-in display chip which drives the 7-segment LED to present real-time flashing frequency data. All orders are securely packed for safe delivery and dispatched from our Manchester warehouse, ensuring dependable UK service.
Typical uses include viewing standing waves in string or rubber cord, viewing oscillations of a pendulum or mass on a spring and calibrating revolutions of a device such as a motor.
Operation is simple, and the stroboscope is supplied with instructions for use.
