Spectral Source

This unique unit has been specially developed to provide a varied range of light sources for examination by spectrometers. The apparatus includes various monochromatic LEDs, together with a full set of transmission filters which can be used with the tungsten filament lamp. Compare yellow filter with yellow LED; examine the wavelength distribution from a white LED; compare clear envelope and red envelope LEDs; examine the band spectrum from a tungsten filament at various levels of brightness etc. Requires a 12V d.c. power supply - connection via 4mm leads or a 2.1mm centre positive jack plug plug top adapter.
