Solenoid OHP Field Pattern Model

The model is mounted on clear, transparent acrylic permitting use on an OHP for classroom demonstration. The integrated 4mm socket terminals allow for electrical supply allowing the magnetic effects in each to be visualized through the use of iron filings or plotting compasses. The solenoid coil about 52 x 125mm (Dia. x L) of 16 SWG enamelled copper wire. Each turn is sufficiently apart and well insulated from the adjacent ones.
