S-Shape Block

An acrylic block in the shape of an open 'S', for demonstrating total internal reflection (TIR). When a laser or parallel light beam is shone into one end of the block, the light rays can be seen reflecting off the internal walls as the light passes along the block, demonstrating TIR. A very crude form of optical fibre. Dimensions approx. 220 x 20 x 20mm.
