This Rekrow Portable Lab Burner provides a safe alternative or replacement to conventional gas Bunsen burners, particularly for use in science laboratories or classrooms which dont have a mains gas supply. Compact and easy to transport, this CE-marked burner features durable construction for continuous, safe use. Its heavy base ensures stability, while the refillable design allows for up to 35 minutes of burn time per refill on full flame, and up to 80 minutes on the lowest flame setting.
The burner uses an electronic piezo ignition system, for quick and efficient flame ignition. Capable of reaching temperatures up to 1,250 °C, the burner is suitable for a range of laboratory heating applications, and adequately replaces a standard Bunsen burner. The Rekrow RK4102 burner has been fully tested and comes highly recommended for use in education.
Butane lighter gas is suitable for filling and refilling these burners e.g. BRN-570-150.
