Standard radiation test source for comparative beta efficiency testing with GM tubes, scaler timers, ratemeters and Geiger counters.

Consists of a transparent acrylic slide with a 13mm diameter disc containing 300mg of potassium chloride, which includes 0.0117% potassium 40. Due to the very low activity, it is not classed as a radioactive source.
