Living algae cultures supplied in 50ml drop dispenser bottles, sufficient for up to 30students. Contains a mixture of recognisable genera including Volvox, Chlamydomonas, Spirogyra, Chlorella, Euglena, as well as diatoms, desmids and cyanobacteria.

FAQs

Can I grow the mixed algae on to keep the culture going for longer?

Growing on is not recommended, as with up to 20different species present, one or two may become dominant and others may die out.
