Transformer C-Cores
This high quality, high efficiency Lascells Double C-Core is designed to be used with the Lascells transformer coils. Supplied with a strong rubber belt to hold the two C-cores together, the cores are constructed from laminated sheets of cold-rolled, grain-oriented (CRGO) steel, minimising energy loss and maximising magnetic efficiency. The two C-core halves have a rectangular cross section, with machined ends to provide a flush fit for optimal contact when placed together. When used in conjunction with the Lascells Transformer Coils, a range of transformer investigations can be carried out.
