Lascells Resistance Wire Board

Apparatus for investigating the properties of resistance wires using a mounted board with multiple nichrome wires.

Four 50cm nichrome wires are mounted on a baseboard with a metric scale to support investigations of resistance versus length and resistance versus diameter.

Wire diameters supplied are 0.9mm (20SWG), 0.7mm (22SWG), 0.56mm (24SWG) and 0.37mm (28SWG), providing resistances in the range of approximately 0.4 to 4 Ohms.

Each wire connects via a 4mm socket at one end. Intermediate or end connections can be made using a jockey or crocodile clip.
