Lascells Capacitance Box

This Capacitance Box enables students to investigate the properties of a wide range of capacitors in such applications as smoothing circuits, charge-discharge situations and any electronic circuit requiring a range of capacitor values. Housed in a robust plastic enclosure, there 10 capacitance values in total; 5 non-electrolytic components of values 0.1, 1.0, 2.2, 4.7, 10µF and 5 electrolytic components of values; 100, 470, 1000, 2200, 4700µF. All capacitors are rated at 63V with selection by 4mm sockets.
Capacitors may be connected in parallel to add their values together if larger values are required.
Dimensions 185 x 80 x 65mm.
The apparatus is for LOW VOLTAGE D.C. applications only, and it is advisable to check circuits for correct polarity before power supplies are switched on.
