This apparatus from Lascells provides a robust and convenient method of verifying Hookes law.
Unlike many other versions this apparatus is designed to allow students to investigate single springs and spring combinations in both series and parallel. The apparatus gives sensible single spring readings using only 100g. The apparatus is supplied with a robust hanger and pointer, a clear scale and 3 springs. (Clamp stand, boss and masses required but not included.)
