DNA DuraGel™ gels are permanent polymer gels that allow students to practice the critically important skill of pipetting/gel loading. The clear, reusable gels are designed for the practice of loading 5 - 35 µl of samples.

• Gel grids are imprinted with a ruler for sizing DNA fragments.
• Students learn how to load an agarose gel using a micropipette or a transfer pipette.
• Permanent polymer gels let students practice and master this essential skill year after year.
• Simulate an electrophoresis experiment with matching gel images.
• Calculate DNA fragment sizes using a linear standard curve.
• Simulated FlashBlue™ and Ethidium Bromide gel images are included, ideal for representing how actual gels are stained with Methylene Blue and Ethidium Bromide.
