The Lascells Digital Signal Generator is simple to use and has a robust, sleek design utilising an extruded aluminium casing with tough ABS end caps, with a precision LCD display. A full frequency range from 0.1Hz to 100kHz can be generated.
The apparatus uses a digital microprocessor to synthesise an analogue waveform. Since the microprocessor also controls the output amplitude, wave profile and displays, there is perfect correlation between the displayed parameters and the signal available at the output sockets. The system also allows the full frequency range to be covered with one control and no range switches. However, should you need to jump frequency levels quickly, either up or down, this can simply be done by the push of a button.
Signal output can be to an oscilloscope, via the high impedance 4mm output sockets, or a high-power amplified signal to a loudspeaker or vibration generator, also via 4mm sockets.
A mains plug top power supply is included.
