Optical polished glass cylindrical lenses, with ground edges.
Size: 50mm high x 45mm wide., The traditional die-cast metal box housing an incandescent (Tungsten) bulb. Side-fins on the outside of the enclosure assist in the heat dissipation. Provided with a set of vertical-grooves on inner sides for accommodating various 45mm wide accessories (e.g. slit plates, cylindrical lenses, colour filters). The 12V bulb has a vertical filament mounted in SBC bulb holder with a two core flexible connecting lead terminating in a pair of 4mm banana plugs. Supplied complete with slit plate, double ended single-triple. Requires a low voltage DC laboratory power supply to operate., A less traditional design of ray box, with strong ABS plastic construction and three apertures - at the front and the two sides. Supplied with two slit plates - one with a single and a double slit, the other with a triple and a wide slit. Includes two blanking plates for unused apertures. Comes with a lead terminating in two 4mm plugs, and a 12 volt 24W bulb. Requires a low voltage DC laboratory power supply to operate., An economical ray box with a traditional die-cast metal enclosure. Delivers white light but runs much cooler than conventional incandescent lamp models, as it uses a cool ultra bright LED to give superior white light. Supplied complete with slit plate plus its own plug-in battery box (for 2 x AA batteries, not supplied) as a power source. The battery box can also be removed to reveal two 4mm sockets, so the ray box can also be used with a standard lab power supply set to 3V max. Approximate running time from 2 batteries is 120 hours. Accepts 45mm wide accessories (e.g. slit plates, cylindrical lenses, colour filters). Please note: collimating lens not included., Housed in a traditional die-cast enclosure, this ray box features cool-running ultra bright LED light, giving a superior white light with up to10000 hours running life. Equal in power to most conventional 24W ray optic boxes. Accepts 45mm wide accessories (e.g. slit plates, cylindrical lenses, colour filters).
