Choice chamber designed for observing behaviour and habitat preferences of small organisms such as woodlice or maggots. Manufactured with an ABS base and acrylic lid for durability and repeated use.

Design and Features

Construction

Injection moulded ABS base with a clear acrylic lid, designed for robust classroom use.

Quadrant base

Base divided into four equal compartments for holding desiccating or humidifying materials beneath a protective mesh layer.

Mesh separation

Fine mesh sits above the quadrants to prevent organisms from contacting materials below while allowing movement across compartments.

Light control lid

Lid divided into four sections with alternating clear and blacked out quadrants to create light and dark conditions aligned with the base.

Access and size

Central 15mm access hole for introducing organisms. Overall dimensions are 180mm diameter and 35mm high.
