Breckland Scientific Becomes Part of the Atom Scientific Family

We would like to announce Breckland Scientific as of June 2025 became part of the Atom Scientific family, a step that marks a fresh start and a stronger future. While this marks a new beginning, you can be assured that the things you value most will remain the same…

You’ll still be working with the same friendly Breckland team as Lee and Sarah will continue to be out and about connecting with you as always, placing orders will be just as straightforward, and our commitment to being a UK based supplier – something we know is important to our customers will continue as we relocate our stock to our new facility in Manchester.

The past 18 months have been extremely challenging for both us and our customers, and we know you’ve felt the impact. We want to be open and honest with you. We haven’t always had the stock you needed, and we haven’t always delivered on time. We understand how important this is to you. For this, we sincerely apologise. Since June, we have been working closely with the support of Atom to put things right and strengthen our operations. Together, we’ve already made significant progress we would like to share.

We’ve already cleared 70% of our back orders, and we’re on track to clear the remaining 30% over the next few weeks. Thanks to Atom’s major investment in stock holding, once back orders are complete, most orders will be ready to ship straight away. In the rare cases where items need to be ordered in, we’ll make sure to communicate any delays with you clearly and promptly.

We know how difficult the last 18 months have been, and we appreciate your support through it all. With Atom’s resources including their stock of over 10,000 product lines and ongoing investments into our stock, we are confident that the service will continue to improve.

This is a journey, and while it will take some time, we are moving in the direction and the beginning of a new chapter. We’ll be posting regular updates and have lots of new things to talk about in the months ahead.
