Breckland Progress & Updates

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and feel refreshed and ready to return to the prep room.

It feels like a good time to update you on the progress here at Breckland.

Our warehouse move is nearly complete, and new stock is arriving daily. We have expanded our warehouse team and grown our sales team, allowing us to provide an even higher level of expert technical and sales support.

We are committed to being clear, open and honest about any changes, and about our approach to sustainable pricing as part of our stronger future. This helps us remain commercially viable while continuing to deliver the service our customers know and love.

From 5th January 2026, the following changes will apply:

Part shipments

Our aim is to ship all orders 100% complete from stock.

However, where all stock is not available to complete an order and the customer’s requirement is urgent, we are happy to accommodate a part shipment when each part of the shipment has a value of £100+ VAT.

Please note: if a missing item is due in within 72 hours of the part shipment request, we reserve the right to ship the order 100% complete once stock is available.

If a part shipment request does not meet the above criteria, it can still be arranged for a £6.95 part shipment fee. Customers are also welcome to increase the value of their order to meet the criteria.

You will always have the choice. Our options allow you to pay for a part delivery, wait for the full order, or cancel. If lead times are unusually long, we may arrange a part shipment to help keep things moving.

Delivery

All standard courier orders over £75 will qualify for free delivery.

For orders under £75, a £6.95 delivery charge will apply.

New website

We are pleased to share that we have been working closely behind the scenes with our parent company, Atom Scientific, alongside the merchandising and marketing team, on the development of a new website.

They have been working extremely hard on this project, and we have collaborated closely throughout to ensure the new site reflects our commitment to where science techs come first.

We are planning to launch the new website in late January. It will bring a fresh look, along with useful features designed to enhance your experience. Further details will be shared via email and our social channels, so please keep an eye out.
