Demonstrates the difference in conductivity of two different materials. Comprises two identical looking square blocks, but each made of different materials; one of thermal conducting material, the other of thermal insulating material. By placing ice cubes on both blocks at the same time, it can be seen that ice melts faster on one material than the other, showing the difference in their thermal conductivities.
