Has my order been despatched?

Standard delivery orders should be despatched within 1-3 working days after ordering if goods are in stock. Once your order is received, if there is going to be a delay you will receive an email specifying this; please note that this email will go to the email address that placed the order.

How do I change/cancel an order?

The easiest way to cancel or change an order is to email sales@brecklandscientific.co.uk or call our Customer Service Team on 01785 227227. Please note that if your order has already been processed or has been sent, the order is no longer editable.

I haven’t received my order.

If you haven’t received your order and you haven’t had an email regarding any delays, please email sales@brecklandscientific.co.uk for an order update.

When will my back order arrive?

Although we endeavour to have stock of most products, sometimes we will have to place items on back order. You will be notified when this happens via email from a member of the Customer Services team. It usually takes a week before we have dates available from our suppliers, please email sales@brecklandscientific.co.uk or call 01785 227227 for an update.

How do I convert a quote?

If you have been provided with a quote by either the Customer Services Team or your Sales Support Manager, you will have been given a unique reference number. Please call us on 01785 227227 to convert this quote to an order, you will need your official purchase order number as well as your quote reference.

How much is delivery? 

We offer FREE standard 2-3 working day delivery on all orders over £50 excluding VAT for UK educational establishments. Orders under £50 are subject to a £4.50+VAT delivery charge.

If you have an urgent order we highly recommend selecting one of the below delivery options at check-out. (Available for schools, colleges & universities only)
Next Day Delivery - £6.50+VAT
Before Noon Next Day Delivery - £12.50+VAT

Private and Industrial Customers:
Standard 2-3 Day - £14.95+VAT
Next Day Delivery - £24.95+VAT

Orders using your BSS Points is free.

Please note: Delivery times are subject to stock availability; orders must be placed before midday to receive the next working day. To check the stock levels of an item, please contact us on 01785 227227.

Certain chemicals require specialist carriers and consequently attract a surcharge. This is £14.95+VAT per order and applicable chemicals are clearly labelled. Please contact us if you are unsure.

I am not a school, can I order chemicals? 

We have a strict level of duty of care to the public and the environment, it is our company policy that we do not ship anything we class as a chemical to residential/business addresses. Therefore, we are only able to ship chemicals to schools/colleges or universities. This is not a decision we have made lightly and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
