Glass Pneumatic Tough - 100mm x 230mm (height x diameter). These borosilicate 3.3 glass troughs offer a lighter weight, clearer glass alternative to the heavy soda glass type. Suitable for use in gas preparation and collection, testing of alkali metals etc.

Q = These are different to the ones we previously purchased, why is this?
A = We changed suppliers for the pneumatic troughs after the catalogue was published, which is why they now look different to the catalogue picture.
 The reason we changed was because the previous type of pneumatic trough was made of quite thin borosilicate glass and customers were complaining that they thought the troughs were too fragile. So we changed to a much more robust, thicker glass, soda-glass design - which  will withstand knocks etc. much better.
