Prestige 12L Media Autoclave

The Classic Media autoclave from Prestige Medical has been specifically designed for the sterilization of liquids and culture media at 121^oC. This 12 litre portable autoclave is robust but lightweight enough to be easily moved around the lab or prep room, and provides a cost effective, carefully controlled sterilization process. Features a built-in safety mechanism that prevents the unit from being opened until the temperature inside has fallen to a safe level (below 80^oC) and to prevent liquids from boiling over due to a sudden release of pressure.

Fully automatic, with a simple one touch operation, the sterilization period is 28 minutes at 121^oC, with a full cycle time of around 70 minutes. The Classic Media autoclave is available as a 12 litre version only. Supplied with basket and lifting handle, plus instructions for use.
