A sine and square wave signal generator, with continuously variable amplified output over the frequency range 5Hz to 50kHz. The unit is designed for use in the study of a.c. circuits and electronics. Although not as powerful as some other amplified signal generators, this unit can still drive a loudspeaker or vibration generator, along with many electronics applications. The output range is selected using the four-position rotary switch and fine control and the amplitude is continuously variable between zero and 8V peak to peak. Enclosed in a robust metal case with a durable powder coated finish.
• Output frequencies between 5Hz and 50kHz
• Sine or square wave output (continuously variable)
• Output via two 4mm sockets
• Maximum output power 1W into 8 ohms
• Output protected against short circuits
• Accuracy typically ±10%.
• On/off switch on rear panel
• Power supply 220-240V a.c. (via fused IEC inlet & lead)
