Vibration Generator - Standard

Provides mechanical oscillations when given input signals from a signal generator. The frequency response encompasses the whole of the audio spectrum and beyond. Electrical input via a pair of 4mm shielded sockets. The oscillating mechanical output is available through a shaft at the top with a screw for attaching apparatus such as Resonance (Chladni) Plates.

Q = There is a bolt on the underside of the base. Is this for structural reasons or can it be removed so that the vibration generator can be mounted on a screw thread rod?
A = The bolt can be removed, to allow mounting of the apparatus on a threaded rod.
