Carbon exists in many different forms (allotropes), each with different physical characteristics - the various properties depending on the arrangement of atoms within their structures. These Molymod self-assembly models include examples of these different structures, including Graphite, Diamond, Buckminsterfullerene (‘Buckyball’), Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs). Some of these topical materials are providing many exciting new opportunities in electronics, engineering and material sciences, with their unique mechanical, thermal, electrical, and optical properties. Supplied with instructions.
