Urease Tablets

Should be stored in a refrigerator at 4°C. This should ensure a shelf life of up to 12 months. They should be regarded as being 100% for the purposes of dilution, e.g. 1g/1ml in 100ml water gives a 1% solution. pH = optimum range. Temp = optimum range. Working conc. = recommended dilution. Q = How do I make the Urease tablets into solution & how should I store the tablets?
A = Use 1-2 tablets , crushed, in 50ml of distilled water (for determination of Urea in urine). See sheet for more details. For the determination of urea in blood & urine.
 These should be stored at 4oC & should be used within 5 years of opening.
