Portable Electric Autoclave 15 Litre

An extremely robust, quality, top loading portable/bench top electric laboratory autoclave with a chamber volume of 15 litres. The autoclave is thermostatically controlled, with a maximum running temperature of 121°C, and has stainless steel casing with a grade 316 stainless steel chamber.
Typically, for culture media up to 1 litre, a 15 mins at 121°C cycle is used.
Replacement lid gaskets are also available.

Q = How often should I get my Rodwell autoclave serviced and how much will it cost?
A = Rodwell advise that their autoclaves should be serviced every 12 months - although this may depend on how often it is used. The whole unit needs to be returned to them. This can be done by the customer or Rodwell can arrange collection, which costs £30. Then there will be an initial assessment of the unit to see what needs doing - cost £36.75. To then service (and repair, if required), the cost will be £103 plus a charge for any parts which may be needed. After the initial assessment, Rodwell will contact the customer to advise on what needs doing and what the overall cost will be. No work will be carried out until the cost has been agreed with and approved by the customer.
