LED Battery Ray Box

An economical ray box with a traditional die-cast metal enclosure. Delivers white light but runs much cooler than conventional incandescent lamp models, as it uses a cool ultra bright LED to give superior white light. Supplied complete with slit plate plus its own plug-in battery box (for 2 x AA batteries, not supplied) as a power source. The battery box can also be removed to reveal two 4mm sockets, so the ray box can also be used with a standard lab power supply set to 3V max. Approximate running time from 2 batteries is 120 hours. Accepts 45mm wide accessories (e.g. slit plates, cylindrical lenses, colour filters). Please note: collimating lens not included.
