Q = How do you make these up into solution and what will the concentration be?
A = Dissolve 1 tablet in 50ml sterile distilled water and use 1ml of solution with 10mls milk.
The tablets are approx. 252mg (240-260mg) in weight.
1 tablet in 50ml water makes a 0.005% solution – based on there being approximately 2.5mg of Resazurin per tablet.
Resazurin solution does not keep well and should be discarded after 8 hours i.e. made up fresh on the day it is required for use.
Shelf-life of tablets is approx. 3 years.
