Parallel Plate Capacitor

This Parallel Plate Capacitor apparatus demonstrates the working of a capacitor and the dependence of capacitance on the distance between the plates and also the nature of the medium between them.
It consists of 120mm circular metal discs mounted on insulated supports which slide on an extruded aluminium section to allow adjustment of the distance between the two discs, which can be read directly from the scale fixed on the aluminium section. Supplied with three different dielectric materials.
